ChatCut accepts common browser-readable image, video, and audio media, plus .cube LUT files, for project import. A recognized extension does not guarantee that every codec variation can be decoded on every browser or computer.
Project media import
| Type | Explicitly accepted extensions and categories |
|---|---|
| Images | Browser image/*, BMP, GIF, JPEG/JPG, PNG, SVG, WebP |
| Video | Browser video/*, AVI, MKV, MOV/QuickTime, MP4, TS, WebM |
| Audio | Browser audio/*, AAC, FLAC, MP3, OGG, WAV |
| LUT | CUBE (.cube) |
For the widest interchange compatibility, use H.264 video in MP4, PNG/JPEG images, and WAV/MP3 audio. If a file is recognized but fails, confirm it plays locally and transcode it to one of those standard combinations.
