ChatCut Desktop can render video locally on your computer. Local video export adds the 4K preset and does not count against the Free web/cloud export-duration quota.
Export locally
- Open the project in ChatCut Desktop.
- Select Export → Video.
- Choose H.264/MP4 or VP8/WebM, a frame rate, and 480p, 720p, 1080p, or 4K.
- Choose the destination folder when prompted.
- Start the export and keep Desktop open while the local render runs.
- When complete, use Show in Finder or Open from the export row.
4K means a target short side of 2160 pixels. It is available because the video is rendered locally, not because of a particular plan. Performance and available codecs depend on the computer and its hardware support.
Audio, graphics, and some bundle operations can still use cloud rendering even when started in Desktop; those jobs can remain subject to cloud limits and plan gates. See Web vs Desktop Export.
