Generate Seedance 2.5 video at 1080p

Seedance 2.5 supports 1080p output in the video composer and when an agent submits a video-generation request.

Captions

Edit caption content and inline styles directly on Web

Use the Web caption Content panel to search, replace, split, and merge caption cards. Selected words can also receive their own color, background, size, emphasis, stroke, or shadow.

Agent chat

Paste images directly into Desktop agent chat

Clipboard images remain attached to the draft and only appear in My Assets after the message is accepted. Failed sends clean up the temporary asset automatically.

Start Desktop edits from scenario cards

Desktop offers reusable starting points for common editing scenarios and turns the selected card into an agent request.

Fixes

Desktop startup

Windows no longer crashes on paths with non-Latin characters

ChatCut Desktop can now synchronize its built-in skills when the install or user path contains Chinese or other non-Latin characters, avoiding a blank window and immediate exit.

Copied clips keep their effects

Copying, duplicating, pasting, or dragging a clip now preserves effects attached to it. Cross-project Web paste also brings over the cached media safely.

Ripple trim and insert follow the cursor precisely

Desktop no longer applies an extra frame or unexpected distance when ripple trimming or inserting at the playhead.

Media import

Audio cover art is no longer treated as video

Desktop ignores embedded album artwork when classifying imported audio while still preserving files that contain a real video stream.

Desktop sync

Projects recover after sync or authentication interruptions

Desktop refreshes authorization and repairs local schema state instead of leaving a project stuck after a temporary connection failure.
